This course will look at communication as a fundamental human right for everyone. It will look at the elements of communication and consider the barriers to communication for people with complex needs and how effective communication supports good mental health. Participants will explore through the use of video footage and discussion, how the environment and the skills of the communication partner are essential elements to effective communication. This day is suitable for anyone working with children or adults with a learning disability, complex needs and mental Health issues.
